Clash of Clans New Update! Changes for the Friendly Challenge are coming to CoC in the 2016 new update. Attack your friends in the Friendly Challenge mode, however many had concerns about how this would impact war and ‘copying’ war bases in order to practice over and over to gain a 3 star attack. This caused Supercell to listen to the community and announce changes to the friendly challenge mode. In summary, TH9 and above now have a 24 hour ‘cool down’ period to stop people copying war bases at higher level, TH8 and below won’t have restrictions. To enable the 24 hours is sufficient you now will not be able to scout the enemies war base during preparation day, you will see their active village instead so that you can still get an idea of base strength.
